So it's nearing the end of Week 7 of my 16 week program to the 70.3, and I am very happy to report that the patella support knee brace seems to be working and I have managed to get through a week of 23km running (not much yet but better than the 5km I managed back in Week 5 and is an increase from 18k in Week 6. I have also readjusted my scheduling a little so that I don't have any runs on consecutive days - just in case.
Late today I'll pop back into this blog and upload a photo of the knee brace, plus photos of the taping I was doing previously (lasted a week before it got all too hard really). The brace is real charming ;) and a bit fiddly to get the tension just right - but hey, whatever gets me moving!
