campground - all sites must be pre-booked using the Online Booking System.
In the Leeuwin-Naturaliste NP, 20km south of Margaret River, off Caves Rd. Bollards all over with individual
camp sites varying in size. Some sites suitable for small caravans or camper trailers with others tents only. Large fire
places similar in size to ½ a 44 gallon drum. $10.00 per person as at 2016. Large grassy areas for kicking a footy with the kids. Fishing on the coast around 3km away down a gravel road.
8 camping loops to choose from during the busy season. Some loops are closed during quiet times.
Wanil is Tents Only - with
toilets and seasonal fire pits.
Davies, Isaacs, Whalers and Whistlers are for small Campervans, Tents and Swags - with
toilets and seasonal firepits
Hamelin is for small Campervan, Tents - with a sheltered BBQ, picnic table, and dishwashing facilities.
Quenda and Chuditch are for Caravans and Camper Trailers - with sheltered BBQ, picnic table, and dishwashing facilities
Camp hosts on site during busy periods, plus
Ranger comes around a couple of times a day to collect fees.
No potable Water, No Generators, No Electricity
Firewood may be supplied but usually green mill ends.
Can get rowdy on public holidays and long weekends.
Boom gates may be lowered and you may be allocated a site before entry during Xmas/New Year/Australia Day periods.
