Ellenborough Falls is one of the longest single drop waterfalls in Australia. There is a viewing platform from the top, or a timbered walkway to the bottom of the falls with lookouts and rest areas along the way, but again remember, the walk back is uphill (with 641 steps)!
Just nearby you can enjoy lovely picnic areas, a short walk past a magnificent strangler fig and swimming in
the rock pools at
Wilson River Reserve.
The mountain road is winding and has approximately 19kms of gravel surface. This road is not recommended for caravans and large trailers.
