Free camping spread along a large area overlooking an attractive
shallow lake filled with birdlife and suitable for non powered watercraft. There is also a
boat ramp for motorised craft with exclusion zones and speed restrictions.Extensive camping areas fringe the lake with a tiered slope if you prefer to
camp higher back. There is a fenceline about 150m back with
views over the flat, open farmland. Designated no camping zones offer picnic areas for day use visitors on lush grass. Fires permitted only in fireplaces. Firewood available to purchase. Water birds plentiful. Pleasant walking trails.
Toilet blocks offer hot showers, flush
toilets, hand dryers, etc. Very
well maintained with
bins, signage,
toilet blocks, water. Stays longer than 5 days require a permit from the local shire council.Camping is free however a $5 donation can be made to assist with volunteer maintenance. A great spot for large groups.
