Yelarbon Recreation Ground - QLD

This is a small town on the Qld-NSW border and we have a lovely little camp site at the Recreation Grounds. All welcome, tents, caravans, motorhomes, even the pets! Our main building is the old railway building with lovely clean toilets and showers, we have just installed a ladies shower too. We are all volunteers here and only charge a small fee to cover the cost of running the grounds, rates, water, insurance etc. Powered site $15 pn, unpowered site $10 pn, we also have the old jail building here now and it houses our small museum. There is a shed with a camp kitchen but only open on request, a small shed with more museum items and old machinery around the grounds that has been donated to us, lots of gardens with nice flowers at the moment. Call in anytime and stay a while, rest and relax, check out our lagoon across the road and the walking tracks. One of the walking tracks leads to a biodiversity walk, loved by bird watchers, with signs around the track to tell you whats there, including a rare red robin.
