All true what you said about Brian , so friendly and yet such a private person ; I miss not having to run with him . On races I could tell it was him behind by the characteristic 'shuffling'of his feet
( and then he usually overtook me and disappeared in front) .
Yesterday at the one hour race there must have been more helpers then runners ! If you had decided to be one of the later instead of one of the former you would have got your deserved gold medal on the hour race .
