Review: Plumridge Lakes Nature Reserve Sign - WA

My Place Rating: My Rating 5/5

I did Gravity surveying on a quad bike here in 2008 and travelled through nearly impenetrable mulga forrest, successfully for weeks over giant spinifex clumps and through this beautiful remote country.Untill a tree or branch fell on me and my quad bike.Concussed slightly i woke up to a dingo trying me out for dinner by licking me.Patched up by bush angels who offered to fly me to camp, i refused as i had a $159,000 CG5 my was i concussed!Waking up at dusk i learnt the sun sets in the North West here so if you return to the main entrance track directly NW following the sun(sets in the west eh?)instead of following the compass West it will take longer to reach the entrance track south from Tropicana although if my GPS still worked reliably plus i was dazed couldnt read for a while lol it wouldnt of been a problem. At Lake Plumridge the sun sets North West at Easter while i was there. This is a fun place take lots of chocolate and water!regards Peter
