Made it to Phuket

Well after a long night on the plane we have made it to Thailand. I travelled over with Bernard & Sean, I mention these guys as you will hear more about them during the trip. So after getting to the Sheraton Lugana unpacking the bikes and testing the outside temp. We went for a walk to get some food. Might I just say the humidity is great and it is a lot hotter than home. So walking along we see an elephant ride (photo below) and make it to a small shopping/food area where we had lunch.

We brought some water supplies at the shops and taxied back to the resort. I have just spent the last 20mins doing a crash course in Thai on the phone to get my local sim card up and running plus added a data package And made a 15min call to Michelle's mobile (cost all up $5aud) and I have a 100mb plan so this should last a week.

Now time to work out schedule for tonight and tomorrow plus have a lie down. More later.
