Well after the drama of the passport being soaked and written off (see last blog using link below) I have just noticed on Australia Post tracking that my new passport has just left the Thai Embassy in
Canberra and should be in my hands tomorrow (Platinum Express Post). Excellent! one major hassle almost out of the way. Once I have it in my hands I will let you all know again.
Now I can move onto import things like currency, mobile phones, medicines and the other things one needs to deal with when travelling and competing overseas.
