Woo Hoo - I think I am back! I have not been in the mood to do much since Vegas but I did register for the
Busselton 70.3 and was always trying to build the motivation level to get myself fully prepared for my first race in the 45-49 category (I will be 44 doing this race but competing in the 45-49 cat as the
Busselton event in based on age EOY 2012). So I really want to put in the hard yards and give this one a real go as I may not make it to the next race category age group gchange at 50 (gee 50 how time flies).
So for this race I decided to build my own program based on my past years of racing, my club training sessions schedule, my Vegas program and anything else I could factor in. This was Week 1 (or what I call Week 14 as I measure in weeks to go).
I finshed week one and I feel fantastic, motivated and pumped to get on with it. I went out on my Week 2 run this morning and it was an awesome 15km run so decided I had better get
home and get blogging and motivating others as much as possible.
Here is my week one activities list (I did miss my a core session on Fri PM and I was going to run Wed AM 7km fast but I was just not up to it at the time).
Busselton 70.3 Program Week 1
I hope you are all out and getting the most out of your training.
