This week I added an Olympic Distance race into the calendar. As it has been awhile since I did a race I thought it would be a good measure to see where I am at in my traninig and also give me the oportunity to do a few transisitons. I must be doing OK as I came first on 40-49 for the race and was really happy not only with the result but I felt really good whilst I was racing, see

So the main diffence this week was a shorter Saturday ride and no days off. So I may reduce my Monday effort this week, I know I already had a sleep in so will see what happens this afternoon.
