Cyclo Sportif - 2010 Series

Cyclo Sportif is the events arm of Bicycling Western Australia (BWA) who each winter run a series of events in and around the regional area of Perth outside the metro area. This series of cycling events are based on the European styled team events. Members organise themselves into teams of 4 to 9 participants, with the overall team time counting as the completed time.

The 2010 season calender consists of 6 events:

18th April - Lancelin
23rd May - York
27 June - Swan Valley
25th July - Pinjarra
22nd August - Yanchep/Two Rocks
19th September - Byford

This I have entered into a team called "Gunning for Glory" and is comprised of the club's "gun" riders. As this is a team group ride, we enjoy the chance to legally "draft" (not allowed in triathlon racing), but for safety reasons aerobars and tri-bikes are not the usual equipment.
