Comment: XAdventure Dunsborough

I'm training for this event but feeling a bit concerned about the water jump on the run and what shoes to wear. At 12.5k I would normally wear socks as I suffer from blisters but I believe we're going to basically be going for a "swim" in the first part of the run so bit confused with the logistics. Also no water stations on run - I only have 2x250ml profile design fuel belt, but will have camelback in transition ready for the MTB. Wasn't too keen to run with that on... and if I did, how would I refill it before the ride? What are others doing?
Some wish for it, others work for it!
