Comment: My Running Rehab Plan

Started Week 5 of the run plan today and did 25mins. All going ok so far. I have stuck to the treadmill as I'm very very wary of getting carried away outside and deviating from the plan. Whilst I am not feeling any "pain" during the run, and definitely no strain or aches afterwards, I can't sense that the back/side of my left knee is "not 100% right" - the treadmill gives me the time to analyze what's going on, and it is my belief that I have use too long a stride. When I sense I'm doing this, I shorten my stride, lift my heels and increase my cadence and the release of tension behind my knee is quite distinctive. I think I will start using a cadence sensor in my shoe which will pick up on my Garmin which will show me exactly what's going on. Will report back next week!
