Is it just me or are events getting seriously expensive? I entered our lot 2 x adults and 2 x kids (7-11) in this weekends sprint down at Hillarys and had to fork out $164 just to enter and this included everyone being TA members (some $400 per year) and getting a discount!

At a min $70 per event I will be reducing significantly my event entires moving forward. This came after $320 per person for the 70.3 event in Busselton.

Does anyone else think it is getting a little expensive. Yes I undertstand there are costs but it seems to be getting out of hand.

Yeah, it's getting a bit rediculous. Mandurah can host an event that only cost $40-50 and yet trievents needs to charge almost double that?
This being said, being an HBF member, I got $10.5 off the rego fee which brought it down to $59.50

That certainly puts it in the right price bracket but I'm happy with my current health insurance and don't want to change - and I wonder if the difference in premiums would work out in my favour or not?
