When I spotted this book title I grabbed it for review, because I gained 5kg rapidly over the spring season (disappointing) yet I had been at my lowest weight over the previous Summer/Autumn/Winter and have had only limited success during the past 3 months of trying to shed the excess. I have found this book to be exactly as described - targetted to people like me who find training is not always enough to stay lean. I like that it factors into account that we need to get high carb gels/bars and carb drinks during training and racing - so the weight management advice is totally totally relevant and I've never seen any resource that is as good as this. Tons of tips to suit a wide range of people and our varying eating habits. Highly recommended, practical, modern and relevant.
