Women's MTB advice please

Have looked seriously at the new Trek Lush SL (women's specific) full suspension but I wonder if I can get away with a cheaper bike? Found the Giant Trance X 1 W (also women's specific) is $500 cheaper so how do I compare?
Here's a link to compare the bike specs side by side on
this webpage - so can someone please tell me which looks the better deal?
ie. do I get a MUCH better bike spending $500 more on the Trek? (don't yet understand the MTB lingo)

Oh wow, one can really do their head in trying to analyse these MTB components but seems with help (and many hours last night) I have been able to see where the $500 difference lies. Off to the
shop this morning... how exciting!!
