Things sometimes move at a frantic pace!

I was intending to walk Hinchinbrook Island in North Queensland in a couple of week’s times, but have changed my plans. I’m heading to New Zealand to further my mountaineering and climbing experience.

I need to get as much time in as I can on mountains and it will be as good chance to evaluate my ‘mountain’ fitness.
Plenty of rowing on at the moment, and lots of body weight exercises (chin-ups, push-ups & the like) as well as ramping up my kayaking.

I put the following together after I paddled yesterday. I filmed it, using a go-pro, to look at my technique which needs some improvement in a couple of areas, so took the opportunity to put a short-video together!

Beautiful day down at Narrabeen...

This is one of my kayaks, an Epic V10, very fast boat, and quite comfortable...

Cheers, Baz
