Well another one down thats makes a total of 6 70.3 races for me and they just do not get any easier. I am happy enough with the result as my final week before the race preperation was not what at all perfect. In fact it took me half of the bike course to realise this was actually the race as my head just was not in the game on the day. I spent the last week in
Sydney with my family going through the emotional roller-coaster associated with my mum's open heart surgery (see
We Have Arrived In Busselton for 70.3).
Anyway enough of the excuses the weather was near perfect, a bit of wind on the bike course but it does not get much better than it was.

Swim - 00:34:02
T1 - 00:02:41
Cycle - 02:21:27
T2 - 00:01:50
Run - 01:43:55
Finish Time - 04:43:58 (00:00:10 slower than last year)
I was really targetting a 4:30 this year however with the
events leading up to the day I just was not in the game. This result is still good but hee I am not happy that it was slower than last year. Now to focus and setup a new traning plan for the World Championship in Las Vegas in September.
